FAMILY RECIPE COLLAGES
In 1958, my dad embarked on a journey to the United States by sea, accompanied by his mother and two of his siblings. His father and eldest brother had emigrated a few years prior. While they left behind much of their life in Italy in pursuit of better opportunities in America, they carried their customs and traditions with them. Food became the conduit that linked my family to their roots back home.
I designed these collages as a tribute to the recipes that have been handed down through generations in my family.
